Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina Group:
A Contemplative Pause for Your Week
Wednesdays 12:00 p.m.

Anxious? Feeling stress? Wanting to grow deeper in relationship with Christ? Come and receive Christ’s presence in silence. We may think of prayer as thoughts or feelings expressed in words, but this is only one expression of prayer. God wants us to listen and be present too. Centering prayer’s focus is on the deepening of our relationship with the living Christ. There is a power in sitting in silence together as a group in Christ’s presence. Centering prayer gives us time to sit with God in stillness and peace. We invite you to stop by our Zoom Centering Prayer/Lectio Divina Group for a quiet break in your week to sit and receive God’s love in stillness—no experience necessary, all are here to learn and grow.
Each week we will follow the same time structure, so feel free to come and go during the time as your schedule allows. Come for centering prayer, Lectio Divina (Scripture reflection) or both! (Participants are muted upon entry, so people can join and leave without distraction to the group)
